    1. It’s about time science acknowledges what I have known to be true for some time — the 5th taste is indeed real! Sometimes consensus comes about way too slow. 100 years?!?!?

    2. I’ve been noticing for years that having a pet seems to help people stay human, especially people who live alone. Nice to see science validating my anecdotal evidence :)
