September 3rd, 2008The 1982 Disney film TRON inspired countless geeks, myself included, to get into computer science, just as Fantastic Voyage (1966) inspired the geeks of its generation to go into the medical sciences.
The TRON 2 trailer was shown at comicon in July, where someone managed to capture it. I love the way the audience cheers when Jeff Bridges appears on screen:
Could it inspire a new generation of geeks into computer science?
